Hi Rayzer welcome to the forum!

 :glg:

Rayzer is my father and he is new to the computer world and forum but not to life as a leaf fan. Not sure how much we can expect him to post, but I am sure he will read.

He doesn't miss too many games and he tells me at the beggining of every season that he thinks the leafs will win the cup. One year maybe he will be right. How many games have you missed this year?

Your dad sounds a lot like me..... So...... Cup it is then this year. I just hope there's a Stanley in front of it....  :dtds:

:w3: to our little family here Rayzer.... We all have to start somewhere on these darn computers, so best to do it with family.

Don't be shy, and don't be bashful because computer experience is not mandatory here.

You just have to be a dedicated  :GMO: Leafs fan.....  :hs: :hs: :hs: :hs: :hs: :hs:

ENJOY!!!

Don't hesitate to ask me if you need anything....

Tony

An optimistic die hard Leaf fan that's what I used to be before I got a computer, around 2 1/2 years ago. Have fun! :bh:

Thanks for the great welcome.  I hope to come on often.  I honestly don't think they will win the cup this year but they will make the playoffs.  I have made a vow not to get my hair cut until they do make the playoffs so they have to make it for the sake of my wife.   :glg:

I know the last couple of wins haven't been pretty but it is good teams that win those kind of games!  In the last few years the Leafs haven't been doing this but now they are.  That's why I think they will make the playoffs this year.
I sure liked Lupol's goal last night.  It was spectacular.  I have watched hockey for a few years and it has to be one of the best goals I have seen.

13 games left. I figure the leafs only need to go 5-8 to get in with 52 points.
Hopefully they can go more like 8-5 and finish 5th or 6th.
I really don't want the leafs to have to face pittsburg in the 1st round anymore.

Rubens said the same thing to me a while ago. Games that the Leafs would have turned over and died on; they are fighting back to win it. That is something that I can't even remember them doing much of and I've been watching this team for a very long time also.

On a side note.

Nice to see you posting.....

We all are!!! Ican hardly wait, what I'm looking forward to the most is the young kids getting a chance to play. And to see if there is a real attitude change.

Toronto Maple Leafs Jersey History

A Proud Franchise With Strong Tradition And Rich History

13 Stanley Cups

The Toronto Maple Leafs have an incredibly rich history and are arguably the most storied franchise in all of hockey. While the tradition runs deep with 13 Stanley Cups, the last of which came in 1967, the organization was considered a dynasty in the 1940's and 1960's only to be followed by five long decades of drought that began with the Ballard years up until the present day. While a resurgence through the Pat Burns teams of the 1990's and Pat Quinn in the early 2000's brought some respectability back to the organization despite still falling short, the patience of every Leafs fan is at an all time high. And yet an undying support with fierce loyalty for the Blue and White also remains. With the arrival of Brendan Shanahan, Lou Lamoriello and Mike Babcock, Leafs Nation remains cautiously optimistic that our beloved Buds have finally turned the corner to put Canada's Team back on the map.
